Local calculation
Current pay, target pay, raise amount, filing status, other income, deductions, and tax scenarios are processed by code running on your device. V1 does not send these values to a salary API, database, analytics provider, or session replay service.
Saving on this device
By default, the site does not save your values. If you enable “Remember these values on this device,” the calculator writes a versioned record to your browser's local storage. Disabling the option, choosing Clear saved values, or resetting the calculator removes that record. No cookie stores salary values.
Share links
The ordinary page URL contains no salary query parameters. A shareable state is created only after you click Share link. The values are encoded in the URL fragment after the # symbol. Anyone who receives that link can decode and see the values, so treat it as sensitive. Browsers do not include the fragment in a normal request to the web server.
Analytics and advertising
V1 has no analytics vendor, ad tag, tracking pixel, or session replay. A disabled internal wrapper reserves privacy-safe event names for possible future use. If analytics are enabled later, raw salary, target, tax amounts, saved payloads, and URL hashes must remain excluded. This policy will be updated before any such change.
Server and Cloudflare data
Cloudflare may process normal web requests needed to deliver the static site, including IP address, request path, browser details, and security signals under its service terms. Salary values in the fragment are not part of that normal request path.
Clear your data
Use Clear saved values or Reset inside the calculator. You can also remove site storage through your browser settings. The V1 site has no account or server-side salary record to delete.
