Local calculation
Current pay, target pay, raise amount, filing status, other income, deductions, and tax scenarios are processed by code running on your device. The site does not send these values to a salary API, database, analytics provider, or session replay service.
Saving on this device
By default, the site does not save your values. If you enable “Remember these values on this device,” the calculator writes a versioned record to your browser's local storage. Disabling the option, choosing Clear saved values, or resetting the calculator removes that record. No cookie stores salary values.
Share links
The ordinary page URL contains no salary query parameters. A shareable state is created only after you click Share link. The values are encoded in the copied URL fragment after the # symbol without changing the page open in your browser. Anyone who receives that link can decode and see the values, so treat it as sensitive. Browsers do not include the fragment in a normal request to the web server. Google Analytics and Ahrefs are not loaded when a page opens from one of these salary share links.
Analytics and advertising
The site uses Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand page visits and improve the site. Analytics is enabled on ordinary visits, but it is not loaded when your browser sends a supported privacy opt-out signal, when you disable it through Privacy choices in the footer, or when a salary share link is open. Ahrefs states that its web analytics product is cookie-free. Google Analytics may use a first-party analytics cookie. Raw salary, target, raise, tax amounts, saved calculator values, and URL fragments containing salary share data are never added to analytics events. The site does not use ads or session replay.
Your analytics choice
Select Privacy choices in the footer to allow or disable optional analytics. Your selection is stored in your browser under a dedicated preference that contains only “granted” or “denied.” It never contains a salary or calculation result. Disabling analytics reloads the current page without either analytics provider.
Server and Cloudflare data
Cloudflare may process normal web requests needed to deliver the static site, including IP address, request path, browser details, and security signals under its service terms. Salary values in the fragment are not part of that normal request path.
Clear your data
Use Clear saved values or Reset inside the calculator. You can also remove site storage through your browser settings. The site has no account or server-side salary record to delete.
